Cell phones are far from being what they used to be when they first came up, functional devices that helped people be in touch with one another. Today, it’s all about style and design. In the given context, let us present to you a device that comes in a unique outfit, elegant and sophisticated in the same time: the Disposable Pre-paid Phone, which does more than just nicely wrap your wrist. To be more specific, the phone takes care of the user in a way that everyone would like to be taken care of. You might say that there’s no need for you to own such a thing. Not be so sure! Wrapped around your wrist, the Disposable Pre-Paid phone permanently indicates your position to those who’d save you in case you need help. Created by designer Shirley A. Roberts, the phone is simple to manufacture. Another great advantage is the portability, which can’t be overlooked, as you know how much you hate carrying your phone with you all the time. Nevertheless, we are not sure if the wrist cell phones will ever go to mass production, becoming commercial products that one can find in every shop window. LG’s latest wrist phone proposal even if co-branded with Prada doesn’t seems that was a success. We was so sure that Apple will take this direction….but they chose the iPad project now…and all the others follows them. Maybe Nokia staff is able to understand better this project and concentrate in this direction too. They can also think to connect the wrist phone / pc  with a pair of Vuzix glasses and have a full HD virtual vision 46” of a PC and use the contents downloaded by the wrist phone. Well…scenario sounds cool. Who knows. What is clear, that Shirley’s design looks really great. Much more better than LG or other Chinese manufacturers. So keep the eye on him.
